EXPLORE THE MARINA: Dining and Activities at Every WATERBUS Stop

Marina del Rey offers a delightful way to explore its vibrant waterfront with the convenient WaterBus service. Each stop along the route provides unique dining options and activities.   • Fridays, Saturdays and 4th of July: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Sundays & Labor Day: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Stop 1: Fisherman's Village

This popular stop is home to a charming New England-style village, complete with shops, dining, and thrilling attractions like public dining cruises, parasailing and boat rentals. At this stop, we've got El Torito dishing out scrumptious Mexican cuisine, La Marina Trattoria with mouthwatering Italian classics, and Whiskey Red's serving up seafood and steaks. If you're craving something casual, KC's Crepes, Daniel's Ice Cream shop, and La Serenata's clam chowder will hit the spot. After a delicious meal, challenge yourself at the Ultimate Escape Room or browse through a local art gallery. Enjoy live music or rent a bike to explore the scenic area at your own pace. Stop 2: Burton Chace Park

This hidden gem is a 10-acre park overlooking the water, where you can enjoy a picnic, catch a summer concert, or watch a movie under the stars during their free outdoor events. Stroll over to Trader Joe’s for snacks or visit the Boardwalk Shops and Waterside for a variety of food and shopping options. Click button to learn more about Burton Chace Park.

Stop 3: Waterfront Walk

Savor delicious food and drinks along the waterfront at Tony P's Dockside Grill or Cast and Plow at The Ritz-Carlton. For families with little ones, don't miss the chance to visit the nearby fire station. Experience the unique atmosphere at The Warehouse, known for its koi pond and kitschy vibes, or head to Killer Shrimp to check out Killer Rides, a fun car-themed attraction. Or Killer Yacht Club, the speakeasy lounge at Killer Shrimp, is a fun spot to explore on Friday and Saturday evenings, too.

Stop 4: Mother's Beach

This stop is perfect for family fun with its large playground directly on the sand, covered picnic tables, and easy access to waterfront restaurants such as Beachside and The Cheesecake Factory. Try out stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) or kayaking from the following rental shops on the beach such as ProSUP Shop and Paddle Method. Or, try paddleboard yoga with YOGAqua. Stop 5: Dolphin Marina

Walk a few minutes along the promenade toward Dear Jane's where you can enjoy a delightful brunch or dinner at Dear Jane's, a local favorite featuring classic seafood dishes with a twist from two-star Michelin chef Josiah Citrin. On Saturdays, you can also explore the Farmers Market on the corner of Panay Way and Via Marina for fresh produce and artisanal goods.

Stop 6: Esprit

Plan to take a 10-minute walk along Marquesas Way. When you get to Via Marina, you'll discover The Hive, an organic cafe and superfood bar serving healthy-for-you items like smoothies, bowls, salads and coffee. If you're in the mood for a workout, Orange Theory Fitness is nearby to help you stay active during your visit.

Stop 7: Wetland Park

One of the most conveniently located restaurants along the WaterBus stop is Brizo Bar & Restaurant. As soon as you step off the dock, Brizo welcomes you to its spacious, outdoor patio and rooftop terrace overlooking the Marina. Stop 8: Del Rey Landing
